John and Leighton Isaacs

John holds a B.A. degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky and a M.A. degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Azusa Pacific University. In addition to his pastoral duties, John serves on the International Council of Apostles and Prophets for Salt and Light Ministries, and is on the Board of Directors for Salt and Light, North America.   He is the founder and president of Pray The Bay (a ministry uniting pastors and prayer ministries throughout the nine counties of the San Francisco Bay Area). He also serves as the co-leader of TASCC (Transformation Alliance of Santa Clara County), and is the Chairman of the Board for Campus Church Network (CCN, an international ministry planting student led churches on college campuses).

Leighton holds a B.A. degree in Fine Arts from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia.  She is the Visual Arts Department Chair at Valley Christian High School in San Jose where she teaches classes in Basic Art, Advanced Art, Advanced Placement Studio Art, and Advanced Placement Art History.  Leighton is a leader in the Women's Ministry at KingsWay Community Church and speaks at Women's Retreats for other churches.  Leighton loves people and often uses her art talent to draw prophetic pictures for others.  She has been a blessing to many around the world with her creative drawings and paintings.

John has been a workshop leader and a platform speaker in conferences sponsored by Mission America, Promise Keepers, Harvest Evangelism, March For Jesus, Alpha USA, and others. He has a passion for church unity, city-reaching, and for seeing the church become God’s transformational community in the present culture. John has been instrumental in organizing many San Francisco Bay Area wide pastors’ prayer summits, National Day of Prayer events, and city-wide Prayer Walks for the past fifteen years. He has played a major role in planning three major city-reaching events: "Light The Bay" in San Francisco, CA, "Embrace Oakland" in Oakland, CA, and "A.D.2003" in San Jose, CA.  John has recently completed a seven year commitment as the co-host of a weekly radio program called "Pray The Bay."

John and Leighton, have been married 33 years, have four children (Carrie, Andrew, Katie, and Christopher), two grandchildren (Olivia and Jack), and reside in San Jose, California.
